Mozilla submits Firefox Home app to App Store

Mozilla Labs CEO has indicated in October last year that his company would be launching an iPhone app for Firefox in the future. And now the company has announced that it has submitted its first iPhone app -- Firefox Home to the App Store. This app is supposed to offer users a quick access to their Firefox desktop history, open tabs and bookmarks. If you have a iPhone, iPod touch or iPad, then you are able to easily look up information on the go and pick up where they left off from their desktop browsing. To let these happens on your iPhone, you need to be sure that you already have Firefox Sync set up on your desktop or laptop, then all your needs is right by your side.

Apple's new device iPhone 4 is no doubt the biggest winner, it beat the iPad and become the Apple's fastest selling item. Apple has just announced the company sold 1.7 million iPhone 4 units in through Saturday, within just three days after it was launched on June 24. This is really a dazzling number, iPhone 4 was successful, and it's the biggest successful product launch in Apple's history. The iPhone 4 has become the new star, now it being available for sale in the US, UK, France, Germany and Japan, and turned out that more then 6 iPhone 4 units sold every second.

Apple probably sold 1.5 million iPhone 4 at the first day

The iPhone 4 finally launch in the U.S, and the crowd got crazy again! Just one day after the launch day, analysts are saying that Apple may have sold 1.5 million iPhones 4. If you've saw those lines surrounding Apple stores, you won't get any surprise when you see this number. The iPhone 4 is so hot that beside the over 600,000 pre-orders, there're 100,000 in-store sales and about 50,000 sales in other ways. We can see the iPhone fans around every Apple and AT&T stores across the country, so we might not need to suspect this number that analysts reported. Piper Jaffray Senior Research Analyst, Gene Munster, estimates that Apple’s iPhone 4 sales are between 1 million and 1.5 million units for the first day. “Our best guess is that Apple reserves about half of the units for pre-orders (mail delivery and in-store pick up) and half for in-store purchases (walk-ins), implying total sales for the launch (including the 600k already announced for online and first three days) of between 1.0m to 1.5m,” Munster said in a research note sent to clients.” If that number is true, then the iPhone 4 bore down the iPhone 3GS launch which sold 1 million units in one week. It seem like the iPhone 4 already got it's success.
