Ticket is kind of one-off things in our life, after you accessed to a concert or your best team sport event, your ticket will probably became useless. For people who has strong eco sense, this is a really bad situation to even just think about it, but now Apple is gonna support you to settle this problem. According to Patently Apple, a new patent application from Apple filed in September 2008, indicating that an "iTunes for Concert Tickets" system, or we called iTickets, is in the works.
This e-ticket system - Patent application 20100082491 - relates to adding bonus digital content to event tickets. It would let you purchase on an iTunes-based service to get the ticket you want and access the event. Users can purchase event tickets via iTunes, and store them to their iPhone or iPod touch to take the place of regular paper ticket, them just need to show their electronic devise to access from large sports game to a small wedding.
This is really rock, because we always bring our iPhone all day long with us wherever we go. To make the iPhone the event ticket? Pretty Genius (now I can worry less about losing my tickets). Apple is used iTicket system forthis WWDC summer event instead of physical tickets, developers could access the content, talks, schedules, and the after-parties directly with an iTicket on their devices.
