If you're an iPad user and working with documents on it, here's one of the new feature on the iPhone OS 3.2 that you might have interest to know, it is called Document Support, which allows iPad users to "pass" the file from one app to the other.
This feature lets apps share files. For example, when you're going to open a document received in your email inbox, tapping and holding the document's icon, then a popover with a list will show up to let you get a Quick View or select the app you're going to use to open it, and the apps in the list are all compatible for this document format.Document Support allows app developers to register their app as a designated handler for a particular file type. It can find out what other apps can handle this file besides the usual one you used.
This feature is nothing new among computer platforms, but it is quite unique to a smartphone platform. So it's still a good to see Apple bring this feature to iPhone OS, and make the more easy to use.
