Google Maps Navigation might not come to iPhone...

This is sad, Google Maps Navigation might not be coming to iPhone users with the next generation iPhone. Google turned into disaster recovery mode barely after the UK announcement of the good news, and says, uh… maybe not:

“We did not say we would bring it to iPhone, we said to date we’ve had it on Android and that in the future it may come to other platforms but did not confirm this will be coming to iPhone at all.”
It looks like bringing Google Maps Navigation to the iPhone is much complicated than we thought. (take Latitude for instance) Apple controls the App Store, and Google can't do whatever they want likes they did on their own Android Platform, that means Google and Apple need to work together to let this happen, and it's not easy.
