The world's first iPad inflight entertainment system available this July

From this July, people who choose the in-flight entertainment will have a new option. Bluebox Avionics has announce the launch of bluebook Ai, the industry's first in-flight entertainment (iFE) system to utilizes the Apple iPad. This new Ai will run on iPads, which seems to mostly involve just giving travelers an iPad to play around with while gliding through the atmosphere.

According to bluebook, the bluebox new Ai iFE system takes following advantage:
• full range of games from the iTunes App Store
• full selection of consumer magazines, powered by Zinio™
• at least 10 hours battery life playing video
• eBooks as available in the App Store
• custom apps built for your airline
• and a selection of over 200,000 commercial apps available for iPad
