Eastern Time tomorrow, iPad pre-orders will start at the follow 5:30AM

Steve Jobs's latest creation is available for pre-order in the U.S. early on Friday, March 12: 5:30 a.m. Pacific Time or 8:30 a.m. for those of us on the East coast.

You can pre-order the device either with prices starting from $499. So, if you want Apple's new iPad, remember to set your alarm.

Only the Wi-Fi model will be available on April 3—the 3G-equipped version won't be released until late April. The device will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK in late April.
