One day I heard an iPhone user said that, "When I got my first iPhones, I stopped caring so much about other smartphone." It's true that in the last few years iPhone has made a remarkable progress, which not only pleased iPhone users, but also made BlackBerry users watch with jealous eye.
The iPhone has given a new conception of what a smartphone should be since the original iPhone had launched in 2007. Over the last year, the market share of Apple's iPhone has growing faster than BlackBerry. Here's a study by Crowed Science, it said that there are nearly 40% BlackBerry users considered to switch their next smartphone to an Apple's iPhone, and third of them are also cool with the Android operating system.
According to the study, there are only 1% iPhone users use their smartphone only for business purpose, and two in three are using an iPhone both for business and personal. On the other hand, about the BlackBerry users, there were about 7% to use their smartphone for business only.
"These results show that the restlessness of BlackBerry users with their current brand hasn't just been driven by the allure of iPhone," John Martin, CEO of Crowd Science, said in a statement. "Rather, BlackBerry as a brand just isn't garnering the loyalty seen with other mobile operating systems."
