We've had some time to spend with iTunes 8, so why not to take a look at the new features now?

Genius (playlist)
according to Apple: click the Genius button, and iTunes creates a playlist of other songs from your library that go great together. Genius playlists help you discover songs in your library you never knew you had — and rediscover forgotten favorites.The one of new features is "Genius", an automated DJ playlist just new added in iTunes. Switch Genius on, and iTunes will auto scan your library and build music database.

Genius allows it to anonymously send your list of music up into the iTunes Store cloud and compile it with everyone else's. It uses both an algorithm to learn what you like as well as data from other iTunes users
When playing with Genius, we found it to certainly be fun, but fairly hit and miss in this early iteration.
Another component of Genius is Genius Sidebar, it displays on the right side of iTunes and it usefully for auto suggest songs from the iTunes Store that are similar to the “now playing music”.
Grid View
Now the iTunes 8 have another major feature is Grid view have had replaces the album view. While the previous album view is cool, then the Grid feels more like what happened after Cover Flow.
The Grid view is designed for all library files Video, Audio and Podcast. A list of its tracks and a very iPhone-OS-like toolbar at the top for album and track navigation. People likes iPhone OS, you can quickly switching your media to the next one in line.
Finally you find that you can find the cover art for music, helpful and highly functional, Grid vies is useful than over.

HDTV Shows
Looks like new section, you can now get TV shows in HD from the iTunes store.
A worthy update
iTunes 7 was released nearly two years ago, and users were getting restless for better features with which to browse and manage their libraries. While iTunes 8 didn't bring everything we would have liked to see, the major new Genius and Grid features, along with a healthy variety of not just polish but actual rethinking, makes this a solid update for Apple's media management software and store.
